The Library Complex Muridkay, District Sheikhupura Foundation stone was laid by Mr. Khurram Ijaz Chattha (MPA) on 14 June 2014. It was opened for the general public from 21th December, 2019 after the inauguration of Mr. Khurram Ijaz Chattha (MPA PP-136) & Mr. Tahir Yousaf Secretary, Archives & Libraries Wing S & GAD. The total area of library is 11,925 square feet. It is two storied building of an attractive design.

The collection of this library is ideally suited to encourage and support the local readers. This is the main collection comprising high quality selective books. Library has a variety of collections in print formats. At present, it has a total number of 3823 books including reference books. Library maintains automated catalogue containing bibliographic information of the books. Library subscribes 15 magazines and 10 newspapers on the interest of its readers. Numbers of regular users are more than 151. Library has different section i.e. Ladies and Children Section, Newspaper & Magazine Section, Reading Hall, Computer Lab, Reference Section, Circulation Section, Acquisition and Technical Section.
Library provides the best services to promote the library culture in the city i.e., Reference service Circulation Service, Photocopy service, Personal Books Reading Hall. Seminar hall is located on the 1st floor. It has almost 100 seating capacity. This hall is intended for activities like welfare & education related activities and seminars.
