GPL Multan is a multi-disciplinary library designed to serve the people from all walks of life without any creed.The library is built on 9 Acre of prime land donated by Pakistan Army in Multan Garrison. This purpose built modern yet iconic library building with more than 91,544 sqft of covered area has been constructed with the generous funding from Government of the Punjab as a gift to the people of South Punjab. This is one of the largest Public Library in Pakistan established after the independence. It has three floors and unique features such as children science museum, day care center, learning commons, rotating deck reading, state-of-the-art technology, coffee reading area, community halls and many more.It can house half a million print books and accommodate 1000 readers at a time through a variety of seating arrangements. The library is maned by a blend of professional and para-professional staff all well qualified and experienced workers and leaders dedicated to provide high quality innovative services.
